Dad wants to buy my snellerized me 460 and I am going to get another saw as I am bored with the ms460. I use a 24" bar most of the time and sometimes need a 32" or even 28" would do.
My choices are
Ms660 with 32" bar
Husky 576xp AT
Husky 395xp
Whadda ya think?

My Dolmar 7900 runs a 28" full comp in big hardwoods all day with power to spare and I'd swear its lighter than my 372 xp xt. If you don't get a 390 from Terry its something to consider.:chainsaw:

Isn't that the same
I can make you a very happy 390xp or 395xp owner. my prices are so low im not allowed to post them. call me or pm me for details ;)
if I had the xtra money I would get it from you , but have an account and can pay monthly which helps

We'll fellas,I am leaning more towards the ms660 right now. Love the 395xp but it looks much bigger. I also like the 576xp in size and handling. Such a tuff choice

The 660 and 395 aren't far apart in the weight department. I will say that 395's are a bit more fun.

Been studying bigger saws lately, so maybe my .02 isnt completely worthless.

I dont really get the 576, might as well get the 390 for a little more weigh but a lot more CC's/power. Or go with a 461/7900 for basically the same weight with more torque for longer bars.

It is my belief that in the hands of the right porter the 390 will cut with, maybe out cut a 660 and be lighter doing it.

The 395 is a man saw for sure but if you are running anything less than 36" bar I think the 390/660 would be the smart choice.

I have a 24" on my ported 372 and it handles it no problem, full comp hard woods only. My $ for a saw that sees 24" bar 75% of the time or even 28" with the occasional 28-32 would be on a 461/7900/390. I have not run one but I just dont see the 395 cutting that much better with a 28-32" bar than a 390 to be worth the weight.

Good luck with your choice
