FIRST thing I do when a saw comes in "not running right", is dump fuel into something to have a looksee, while the owner is present, regardless of time of day...

Dude it dosent take hours to use your own gas tester . unless you have had lots to drink

All you need is water bottle (and its cap) with about an inch of water still in it
and the fuel you are looking to test.
Either pour off the water till it's at an easy to see groove or line or you can mark the bottle
like I did here.
Add enough fuel to almost fill the bottle, loosely cap it and shake well.
now let it sit, undisturbed for roughly 20 mins and then look for the water line.
If it has risen, you have ethanol and water in your fuel.
and the fuel you are looking to test.

yeh and does not take too many brains to figure out that when you have not 1, not even 2, but all 3 661's running poorly, well................it is as usual no fault of the saw. CALLING ALL 661 OWNERS, WE HAVE A FALSE ALARM HERE...........Dude it dosent take hours to use your own gas tester . unless you have had lots to drink

im not going to even bother trying to think whats going on in the head of yours as we speak . your over reacting here a little i just asked if anyone else had any problems here sir. I wasent faulting anything . ITs just a saw and we are on the internet . You dont even own the saws for flip sakes . i personally love 661s why do you think we have so many ??

Mine was running perfectly down to about 5*F as well. I wussed out and called when it got colder...

awsome mine ran fine at -32 *c they worked fine but when weather got mild to above freezing then back to cold again it had me wondering ,but all is good now . freaking water lol .

No pics, one would be amazed how many divorced womens want to get rid of their ex old mans chainsaws. Good friend of mine started callin me a slut fer chainsaws. Come to think of it after I gave him a Mini Mac, ain't spoke to him oh lets say three years now. MF er still owes me beer.
