Selling a Stihl 036. Starts easy and runs and idles well. Holds idle when turned on all sides. Not the prettiest machine. I gave it a quick wipe down, but could use a thorough cleaning. Seems top have some sap on the front and top cover. 145psi compression.

Looking to get $275 PHO plus shipping.

I have an old 029 Super. I busted it out the other day and made a few cuts with it, and I can't believe anyone would be happy running one of those damn things. The vibes are horrible, and it is seriously lacking in power. And it's heavy.

Nice 036. GLWS

Come on man! I know the 029 Super is not a Pro saw, but they are basically just de-tuned 310's. Put on a 3/8" full comp chain, gut the inner baffle, open up the front port, add a second/ side port, trim the limiters and tune to the heavens. Before I discoverd "Pro" saws, I put a whole lot of firewood in the rack with a 029 & 310. Put on a 20" bar and have at it. When opened up, they perform quite well for what little they cost. Just sayin...

So does an MS390 that has been to 140 Cottle Lane for some extra bananas.

It's all I used for several years. It does suck compared to an 036, but it's been dead reliable for a long time, with very little maintenance. I would not be happy running it after using an 036 PRO and a 562xp... And I sure as **** wouldn't pay for extra bananas for it! Oh, and I paid $100 for mine.

ValleyFirewood has spoken for it, but I haven't received payment. I'll let ya know if he doesn't take it.
