Well some areas or companies have legislated that you can't backbar when falling, but mainly because it gives you more options when making your falling cuts and back cuts in where you are standing to make the cut.

But he dont have the license , he dont be authorized faller , understand where is the problem?
 
If you play your cards right you will probably own a full blown logging operation by next year and guys from this site will be begging you for a job. Just don't go to big and buy a bunch of feller bunchers they would take all the fun out of it.
