I honestly never thought of stopping, sorting and taking pictures of 1000 board feet. If you're so interested in this find a saw mill and ask. Look for yourself it's not our job nor concern to further educate you. 4 threads and you've done nothing but talk about what you're doing or going to do. Nut up and find a logging crew put a hard hat on and pack fuel and oil for someone for a year. Hook chokers and work on a landing. You don't need to bullsh!t anyone here. You want to log the world get out from behind the keyboard and learn from experience not mooch off of those of us who have done so ourselves.
 
OMG!!!!!! I just watched the vid,,,,, if you are for real then you are heading for trouble,,, I am nuts but not nuts enough to wear flip flops,, if you want that saw to run right then get the right carb and do a mm on it,, then it will be like this

I feel yah, I am just trying to make educated decisions. And I have done stuff, I took down a tree to see what it was like. I am glad you all are here. I am merely trying to educate myself before I make any big moves.
