The way this lady starts a saw is the most bizarre thing I have seen for awhile. I think it is called throw starting. If you don't have the patience to wade through the whole thing, just push forward until the first time she starts the saw.
Stay on the porch, she’s got this. That starting method doesn't look very safe. No chaps, boots aren't steel toe, no hearing protection. She's cutting on small short pieces and holding them with her foot which is one of the more dangerous things to do with a saw.
Wait till you get to her sharpening the chain (@ 12:00)

You want to keep someone from running your saw? Just shorten the pull rope in half and the handle will painfully be snatched from their hand and they wont want to use it lol.I might be odd, but I can't understand why some people jerk the rope so hard to the end of the starter rope, and then wonder why the starter or rope breaks.
I will give credit for starting it without flooding it, 250's are notorious for flooding easy.
Most times. You sure got that right, took a while to learn, one pull on choke then half choke and a couple of pulls and it starts.
Virginia beach, Virginia. I think.Funny the guy at the sales counter said it was made in the states... arnt they made in Germany?
Took mine back to dealer when it was new and he flooded it trying to start it.lol then he finally did what I do and take plug out and shake gas out of cylinder and then had the audacity to say I don't know how to start a stihl.lol I said you flooded it, course he denied it. I watched him take it in the back and shake the gas out.You sure got that right, took a while to learn, one pull on choke then half choke and a couple of pulls and it starts.
