?? Synthetic oil in the fuel gives you headaches? You sure it’s due to the synthetic 2 cycle mix oil? Your body can tell if the oil is a synthetic vs regular Dino oil? Damn. You could try the non-pre mixed variety and use your own oil.

Certain smells does it same with lavender and a few others and for some reason synthetic 2 stroke oil burning does it. Love the smell of Dino oil though.

Ratio - Rite measuring cup is by far the easiest and foolproof way to mix most any two stoke fuel ratio mixtures
I do 32 to 1 used to have a syringe with the proper markings to draw oil out of the jug but think the dog got a hole of it I just found a clear ketchup type bottle at the filler store that has markings in ML

I mainly run the canned stuff when putting the 2 smoke equipment up for a long period. But for some of the saws I will be running once and a while at engines shows and such I don’t want to use pump gas at all.

I run 32-1 too. You can mix 2 stroke oil with any straight gas with no problem. I say go for it or find a gas station with non-ethanol fuel.

Our Costco premium is supposed to be ethanol free but idk if I 100% trust it. Works ok in my daily use stuff like my kombi tool and normal use saws.

The next time you buy some put a small amount in a sealed glass jar for about 4 to 6 months and see if you get any separation in it. That would be the ethanol separating from the gas. If not, then that is what I would be using for all my 2 stroke needs.
My kombi tool has run that fuel as well as premium from other stations and no issues as of yet but I have only run Costco fuel in my vintage saws. I was mixing 2 different mixes but now that this is the last year of kombi tools warranty so I’m going to gut the muffler and I now have the screwdriver to tune it so it will get 32 to 1 too.

Briggs has a test vial that you fill up with water to a line the fill the rest with gas and it will tell you how much ethanol is in the fuel.
Yes that would be the best way to check for ethanol content. What I said earlier was not correct. Trying to remember things from the top of my head are not always correct so a I double checked myself.

If you have a gas station that advertises ethanol free fuel then I would be willing to bet that it is and that someone else has probably checked it.
Nobody advertises it here I have to go by what pure gas.org says and hope for the best.
