I generally don't conflate women and inanimate objects, but that thing is downright sexy.

If the deal/offer falls through. I'd reach deep into some emergency money or trade a saw for it.

That's my dream saw for work.
I accepted the offer. Never seen money. So I cleaned it up. So price just climbs.

$ talks BS walks. PM me if really wanting it.

I'm growing fold of it using with my bare hands and heat on in the cold ran other day.

I'm getting ready to upgrade the clutch cover with a orange 455 so I dont mess the crap silver cover up. Then going to pull oem muffler and mod a different one. That way if a collector type wants it down the road it can go back right.

I know I'm stretching the purpose of this thread but it kind of fits if you think about it.

I have the same model, just a bit newer, that's been working for 30 years with a patched up deck I have welded on. This was posted locally for $25 with ad saying didn't run all tires flat but deck was good. That deck was all I cared about. Pics showed all tires off the rims so I brought an air tank and straps. 9 mile trip, arrive, I noticed a couple of small 3/16ths " size holes on deck and was disappointed and nearly said no thanks. Here's why "I suck", instead of looking further removing some leaves from further underneath deck I started focusing on the tires. I strapped the first 3 and got them to reseat. Pushed it out to street. loaded on trailer, paid the man, and went home. Removed leaves from on top of deck under and see 2 holes you could put a small foot through......DOH! I suck at inspecting the very reason I even was interested in the old junk. Had I done that first, the man probably would have said free if you want it or I just go home all well and good.

Anyway, removed all the grime and grease from around the motor, fixed a broke positive battery cable, and shot gas in the carb. No go...pull spark plug...great fire. Pulled the OHV cover, valves out of spec, adjust clearance to .004, cover back on, running on shot gas. Poured fuel in the tank, running pretty good. I washed it in the rain and overall looks pretty decent.Murray 25.jpegMurray 25 RT.jpegMurray 25 ENGINE RT.jpegMurray 25 ENGINE LT.jpeg

So that's my YOU SUCK story opener for 2023.

This is "You Suck" turned upside down. I sent these 18 fixer-upper/parts saws away in exchange for $300.

They had cost me little or nothing and were just taking up space. The buyer will part them out and sell the parts on-line, and I will have much more room in my shed! Thanks for watching! T-A

Well darn lol how do they run? I know it's pretty heavy tbh I have alot of the parts that are missing from what I read it came out in the 60s thsts pretty old for a saw I guess... I bet this Thang is loud as heck
Don't get hooked up on the , "Old is Valuable" thing, you'll loose every penny you ever made. Especially with smaller saws. I collect saws over 70CC's and bought 19 of them from an old Stihl dealer in WV. The first batch he sold me 4 for $10 each, plus a running Homelite Super 1050 for $40. All the rest for $20. He knew what they were and what he could get for them on ebay. Every incomplete saw I've bought has been a nightmare. I bought 2 I posted above at an auction a month or so ago. With tax and buyers premium they came to $29 for both, and they both started. The price you paid is about what it was worth, so, I'd give you a you suck on it.

My first contribution to this one for this year. $60 CDN from the original owner! It's a box of parts, but at worst I might need to put a piston in it.

Found two complete red ones in running condition for 100€.
The 644 leaks oil. Probably has something to do with the o ring that fell out of it.
The 621 looks good, except the handle mount has a crack. Looks like a weak point. Maybe I'll find one on eBay...

Those brackets are pretty common, you won't have any trouble locating one.

Well just recently acquired this 028 av super for 30 bucks missing an air filter and the air filter cover… and also the exhaust is missing the outer cover but for 30 bucks figured it would still be worth it. Oh and it runs a little loud without the muffler cover but don’t run it long I already ordered the parts but here’s a couple pics
