I don’t care if you’re full length sizing or neck sizing….technically, you’re supposed to cycle every round through your gun before putting them in the box… Then you know they will cycle.
Do you remove your firing pin before you do this?

I shoot competitively and i never even met a guy who neck sizes. There is really no advantage and only disadvantages. Anyone who thinks that just because it came out of the rifle it's going back in is being too simplistic. Just seating the bullet can make it that much tighter. If you are truly shooting benchrest then these rules can be fudged but with standard ammo is not a good idea. A neck size die as found in a 3- die set will give you more case runnout than any other thing you can do.

I know you guys are stubborn and set in your ways so i won't belabor the point. Amazing how people are so resistant to improving and learning.

I am assuming you are addressing the other guys who neck size here..I don't even own any neck sizing dies.

I have a Dillon primer pocket swager. It works pretty good but does add a time consuming step to the process.

I went to cut up a tree for a customer today based on her phone request. When they called me about the job it sounded a little weird- cut up a big pine tree so she could put it in her paddock. I called her before driving over. Turns out she wanted to cut the trunk of a big pine that her neighbor had cut down, chip it and spread it in her paddock. I told her we don't do that. Hire us to cut the trees down and we'll do the whole job, not going to chip up someone else's tree and not going to chip a 40" trunk🤭

I feel so dirty.... almost like I committed a crime. The fake 543xp showed up. Review, and slightly biased opinion to follow against a real 40cc zenoah.

I guess Joyce Hornady and I just don't agree with you "experts".

While a lot of what you guys say may be true in some cases a lot of it will depend on how well your dies match your chamber, and most of us don't buy custom dies.

I measure my brass every time, and it is nonsense to tell me that my brass will grow more when I neck size than when I full length size. This is NOT the case with MOST of the rounds I reload.

If your loads don't fit back in your gun after one firing (and a neck size after that) they you are loading way too hot.

Few more glory shots.. no spark screen, love the stable carb and "torch" spark plug lol. Saw was definatly ran by looking at the plug. Anyway, it's getting benched till some other things get done first. Then we'll start ripping and tearing at it.

If this STUPID Xfinity add in a foreign language does not stop popping up and blocking the right side of my screen (preventing me from posting or responding) I'm going to stop using this site.

That add continuously pops up and is unacceptable. GET RID OF IT! I don't come on here to be harrassed.
Same issue here but only on my PC. I have to pull the right side of the page in tighter to make it go away. It completely covers the notifications panel and I can’t see any of it. I sent a pm on this a month ago…no reply so I gave up. 🙄

Why yes, yes you do. Not mine. Kinda wish it was. Strong runner, pretty impressed compared to my logging buddy's stock 572xp. Quite a bit faster then the 400 as well. Pulls that 24" bar no problems.

@chipper1 must be out working.
I'm baaaaaaaack!.
Yeah, I'm not a bad shot, and I've been known to send one off kilter, but it's like one out of every 20 or so is a few inches off. I used ro worry about it, but I haven't experienced that with better ammo or hand loads. At least to the point where I couldn't say, yeah that was probably me.
I send more than one out of 20 off, then again, I can't remember the time I shot off a bench.
Now, window sills are a different story, the chipmunks and the .17 keep me in practice for that ;).
IMI just stands for Israel Military Industries.
Correct, just mentioned who's product it was in case someone was wondering, sorry I wasn't clear on that.
I could definitely be a problem in semi auto firearms, but I don't think any modern bolt action would have a problem with the high pressure.
I've never seen anyone have a problem, and I haven't either, nor have I heard of anyone having first or even secondhand info of it happening(speaking 223/556 specifically). A buddy who is a dealer asked me to swap him back some 223 as he sells to quite a few agencies and they won't run the 556 at certain ones, I did as it was a nice trade for me because he sweetened the deal  .

Ain't those straps supposed to go over the load LOL.
I generally just try to reload the stuff with the 223 headstamp, saves me the headache of not being able to prime it.

I will neck size stuff specifically for my bolt gun, but full-length size everthing else.

I was unable to prime some of the military stuff I had, and I gave up trying to use the reamer tool which was marginally effective and wasted lots of time.
I'll ask my BIL what he does, all he loads is surplus from a range that a dept uses, he does his 223/556 on a progressive setup, can you say 5 gallon buckets full(not of brass lol).

You should, the trump videos saying china incoming ;).
Also in case someone thought for a minute I "hearted" a china saw, I didn't, I do that for most any post where someone takes the time to post a picture :).

Does "she" do a lot of reloading/ shooting 🤣.

It's okay guys, it was a joke lol.

Don't judge it too harshly until you fix the intake gasket issue with them...night/day difference.
