I had three bags of hard concrete mix (former owner left it at my girlfriend's house) and the snowblower in the back along with some other tools... I figure it was about 480-500 lbs.
I have pop ups blocked... but under the latest version of Chrome that setting is accessed elsewhere. The "unresponsive" pop up is from Chrome itself. I suspect the storm was behind the slowness as it seems fine today.
That's a bad day for sure. Kinda makes me nervous seeing that. May just have to suck it up and get her a new set.

My best advice to anyone that uses Chrome is to uninstall it and install Brave. Much more secure, no tracking and uses Duck Duck Go for searches. They don't track either.
Forgot to share this, neighbor had a maple taken down. The but end was "free" got about 3/4 of thr way through it and saw sparks, saw stopped cutting. Pulled out and found that. Just about every cutter on the left side wiped out. Tossed a new chain on, cut up a bit higher and got through. Chains gonna need some grinder action. Nothing is ever free.

Mine has the 369. I went with the 24" Platinum SHO model as some of the paths/walks I have to clear are too narrow to navigate with bigger machines and some of the snow has to be moved about 55-60 feet to get it out of the way. The 28" MTD machines were a problem to maneuver due to the width and fixed axle. I'd also have to move the same snow many times to get if off the driveway... the one driveway is like a box canyon and all sides need to be clear. The 24" width and differential worked out great for maneuvering and at most a small amount of snow got moved twice. It was a game changer for me. The big MTD machines were gifted to my sons. They have about a 700' long, steep, private road/driveway to clear to get to their houses. Maneuverability and throwing distance are of little concern for their conditions.
The solid axle is my only complaint on my ariens st524. Doesn't turn without lots of manual input, the newer models with 2 brakes are much nicer.
Roger McGuinn wrote a song titled "If its free it cost too much." It was about his brother-in-law... If BIL gave you something you'd pay him back over and over again through favors asked. I got caught up in that briefly while visiting BIL and my aunt, his wife.
The transaxle in mine doesn't need brakes... nor lifting of the front of the machine. Relatively minor pressure on one side vs. the other will turn it. Some guys don't like it as in some circumstances it wants to turn if it encounters uneven resistance in the front whereas the fixed axle tries to track straight. We don't all have the same challenges when it comes to snow clearing!

The other side of Columbus I saw a semi wrecked, looked as if there was at least one car that couldhave been at fault/ tied up in the ordeal. Then literally a mile away there was a dump truck that had tipped over into the guardrail(no pics of it as it came up unexpectedly, kinda like the bottom of his truck lol), he was probably rubbernecking then jerked the wheel last minute. Rough day...
