Ah, you mean sort of like how what one 13 year old kid does has no bearing on what a good saw is? :)

Good try but I never said a word about it proving anything about a good saw now did I? What it proves is if a 120lb 13yr old can run a 660 then these guys that use weight as a issue to argue with must be pansy azzes,LOLOL

Note Mr Space, Mr Hall never makes weight a big issue because its not, the 13yr old proved it sayth Judge Roy Bean, hehe

My my my and to think, on this site if one model weighs more a few ounces than another model its considered wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy to heavy, so funny, 13 year olds prove it to be what is really is, a bunch of non-sense to argue about and nothing more. High five to that 120lb kid I say, he blows the weight arguement to hell, good for him....

+1, I will add that it must have felt right in his hands also. Must not have any issues with tennis elbow:monkey:

You are right Thall. I said it here once, "why all the cryin about wieght when the old saws wieghed more, men have gotten weaker" or words to that effect. Armchair quarterbacks, weekend warriors, or as you say, pansy azzes.

I know whatcha mean Clearance. I remember running some real heavy Homelites and Macs when I was kid. My brother had a Mac that was so heavy I couldn't tote it far but I loved running that big moma. It was a challenge back as a kid. Saws nowdays are like lightweight Caddliacs compared to those old saws of yesterday,

Take a 50 lb rock and tape it to a 440 then run it all day. Thats how the good old days saws where. When a buck was still silver, and a joint, was a bad place to be.

Yup yup. I'm sure the old timers the used those big heavy saws back in the good ole days look at saws today and go man, wish I had a 20 lb saw back when I was sawing,
