021 Starts choked & Dies

I have a stihl 021 that will start when choked but dies as soon as I crack the choke. The fuel filter is fine & the gas line apears to be OK. I thought it was a carb problem, so I purchased a new carb. The new carb does the same thing. Any suggestions what to look for. Thanks

make sure your impulse hose is connected under the handle

And the other end goes to a nipple on the block.

I ran into something ver similar to that on my 021. It was a combination of the impulse line fitting loose on the carb. and the fuel line had a pin hole which wasn't visible except under pressure.

Thanks Guys I tore it down this morning and I found a small crack in the fuel line. Also the impulse line feels kind of stiff & loose fitting on the handle mount. I am going to replace both of them while im there.
