Sold 034 AV

selling a pretty nice 034. Pulled 170 comp. has tillotson carb, new clutch bearing and plug. Was pretty dirty from the prior owner but cleaned up good. Setup with a 3/8 7 pin but can change if needed. Missing one small plastic pc by clutch. I couldn’t find one as it has the less common 2 pc dust cover.

From an even stronger seller. Not sure why 034s are so tough to sell. I can't wait to get to mine, throw the 18" Swedish Stihl bar I just picked on it and go cut wood.

Indeed! I just love mine. Despite the fact I have a brand new CS590 Timberwolf, I just love the 034AV. Feels like a great pair of old jeans.

How does it compare to the 359s?

I feel like a bit of a traitor, but the CS590 is a beast of a saw. Not all pretty with nice bells and whistles (just look at the on/off switch!), but it can hold its own with the 359's and also a MS 362. You just can't beat the deal. I got mine new in the spring when the local Echo dealer had 20% off all equip. Got it for 319.00.
Has a nice feel, and the vibe is much lower than I expected.
