Screw must have came out and got wedged. Would you use this cylinder or replace it?

I'd try to smooth that out and see how it looks.
Where that is, you should be able to polish it out fairly easily without raising the port too much.
You might even be able to delete the base gasket and still not lose any dwell.
Did you check the squish before you disassembled it???

Im thinking smooth it out a little and use it!
No I didn't think to check the squish before I took it apart........ the saw is in pretty good shape. I will need to get a piston, what do you think a Meteor?

I would not sell the saw with that cylinder on it (without disclosing,) but you got nothing to loose by trying to run it. I'd drop a piston in there, and see how she goes. Worst case, the chrome flakes off and you have to replace the cyl anyway at a later time.
Thre's probably a little "bulge" of metal there, pushed into the cylinder. Dress that off, bevel the edge of the port a little, and run it.
