Hey there, can anyone help? Ive been searching around for some power mods and stumbled on a local chap advertising an 064 (50mm?) thats been fitted with a 066BB cylinder combo (taking it up to 93cc). If the 064 was a 50mm piston to start with and hes gone up to (56mm?) for the 93cc, does this mean I can mod a 066BB cylinder/piston and install it into my 038AV?....

Nice try

First off the 064 has a 52mm piston to start with and I think the BB kit is more displacement than that but I could be wrong. Next in order to put that topend on that case you would have to change to much to make it worth your while. You would be better off finding a straight gassed 066 and putting your topend on it. It's way to much work for what probably wouldn't run worth a darn either. Just port the 038 and leave it at that.

It's not even close... Very few cylinders can be swapped around outside of an immediate family of saws.

If you want boost your 038, put an 038 mag2 piston/cylinder on it.
