044 Cylinder Shroud?

Did the early 044 cylinder shrouds not come with provisions for a winter shutter? My shroud does not have one, it's marked 1128 084 0900. Can anyone shed some light on this?

The early shrouds had a rtoary shutter, the later ones did not.
