say could i put a 9 pin 3/8 pitch rim on? or is that even out there? not for the long bars of course but when i am sure that i have done everything right this saw will be up for grabs to AS members first of course.
 
A 9 pin isn't a production item. It will cost you about $23 plus shipping or what ever it costs to get one made. They're made for racing not work. I've got one myself for when I'm playing cutting cookies.

Madsens stocks 9 pins in 3/8. I run one on my 066 that Treeslingr ported, if i'm in soft wood thats 30" or less. I think a lot depends on how hard the wood is that you're cutting.
