The .050" squish and the 130 psi compression would likely go hand in hand.
 
Some good pics would be nice, to rule out the possibility that it is a Chinese fake - they are quite common....:censored:

A lot of the fake ones have the same 2007 serial number.
 
An important consideration of this saw is how does it perform and feel when you cut with it?

If it starts, runs, and cuts good . . . That's all that matters?

Everything looks genuine

This series of Husky was not known to have high compression pressures even when new.

Got porting on the brain! just want to make sure everything computes before i dive into that adventure.
 
I have a stock Dolmar 7900 and a Stock Stihl 660 Magnum and ported 066.

I also have a ported Husky 372 that I really like right along with the other saws.

The 372 is of the same family as the 365. It is just a good feeling saw for this size. You will really like your 365 Special.
