I bought an 090 that had the drum machined with the sleeve and it worked great. I should look into getting that done to a bunch of drums. Will have to see what that costs.
that shouldn't be difficult if you start the right size heavy wall tube so there is little machining
is there a set screw or two to make sure it doesn't spin inside the clutch cup?
that way the press fit would not be so critical
It worked out pretty good getting a sleave put in. Little video to show, and a picture. So others can give it a go. Not going to see many clutch shoes kicking around for these saws.
