090 Clutch Shoes

I'm bumping this thread because I just got quoted $45 per shoe from my dealer!!!:jawdrop:

Can anyone get a better deal that would be willing to ship to me?

That's about the best deal you're going to find on original 090 clutch shoes...

I bought an 090 that had the drum machined with the sleeve and it worked great. I should look into getting that done to a bunch of drums. Will have to see what that costs.

that shouldn't be difficult if you start the right size heavy wall tube so there is little machining
is there a set screw or two to make sure it doesn't spin inside the clutch cup?
that way the press fit would not be so critical

No set screw that I noticed, but I wasn't looking for one either, but it is the way to go.

Stihl 090 drum fix video

It worked out pretty good getting a sleave put in. Little video to show, and a picture. So others can give it a go. Not going to see many clutch shoes kicking around for these saws.
