winch rope

we just replaced our amstel blue winch rope . it was 1/2" and about 100' long. it gave us good service life.it was on our 1890 HD when we bought it 2 years ago and it was pretty used then . since we routinly use it to pull large trees over that are leaning the wrong way we replaced it before we had a failure. did some research about winch ropes and found a company called master pull. they have some impressive products. so we bought some 3/8 rope so we could fit 125' on the spool. it is rated for 26,000 lbs and cost about $300. thats a pretty good deal compared to other winch ropes. i like it so far.
