As the title indicates I have two early 044 crankcases that were used with the 10mm variant crank. The first case is pretty good, some scuffed paint and a little dirty. There is a small ding in the front bottom but it does not affect functionality or assembly(see photo below). The cylinder bolt holes on the exhaust side must have been stripped out at one point because they have been repaired with helicoil style inserts. I threaded in some M5x20 bolts and they threaded in and torqued down just fine(see photo below). An additional side note, the flywheel side case half takes the M4 size screws to bolt on the starter assembly. Asking $20 plus the ride.
The second case is overall pretty good. No stripped holes or cracks. Does have a chunk missing where the serial number is. So you will either have to jury rig something up or just not use an inner spike. Some scuffed paint and a little dirty. The flywheel side case on this one takes the M5 size screws. Asking $35 plus the ride. Contact me anytime. Thanks.
