Just for laughs today I did a real informal weigh in of a few of my saws. All had 24" B/C's. The amount of fuel and oil was whatever was in them at the time.
The 288XP Lite weighed 12oz more than the Dolmar 7900 and 1 # more than the 372XPG.
288 XP Lite = 21#
Dolmar 7900 = 20 1/4#'s
372XPG = 20#
Jred 2159 = 17 1/2#'s (20" B/C)

My fresh (but stock) 'non-lite' 288XP laughs at a 32" b/c and a 3/8-7 rim.
