has anyone tried, to convert a cutoff 3120,,to a chainsaw??? is so, what problems...

Most people find it to be cost prohibitive. Changing the PTO side case half is the most time consuming part. The other side also if it isn't already drilled for the oil hole. Quite a few older threads on here about everything that is involved.
