346XP NE Muffler mod

Considering modding the muffler on the 346XP NE I purchased this year. Anyone who has done one yet have any suggestions on what size hole(s) and placement? I haven't modded a muffler before so whatever advice I can get would be helpful.

I know there is a muffler mod thread but I just want to know specifics for this saw.

I have one I just bought too, but I think it is best to wait for the warranty to run out before doing any modding on a new saw. Just my thoughts on the subject.

346XP Muffler mod

Here are some shots of my 357 and 372 saws. Can't find the picture of the 346 now. You'll get some idea of the placement of the whole.
