Hello AS. I read the posts all the time but this is the first post.

I got my hands on a used Husky 346XP and was looking online for some replacement parts. However, the websites that I found list different versions (1999-01, 2001-06, 2003-06, 2004-03, 2007-02, 2007-08, or EPA 2004-03), how do I know which version I have?

The nameplate on the crankcase reads
956 41 04-00
00 1900195

Any help would be great.

I have no idea what year

But if I was you, which I know I am not.
I would send that saw off for a real waking up..Get that puppy woodsported and then you will have a great little bucking saw.

The 346xp came in two main flavors old and new with 2007 as a rough cut off date between the two. The old 346xp was rated for 45cc. The new edition is 50cc usually comes with a primer bulb and a silver clutch cover. Both new and old 346xp also came in etech models which have a cat muffler, say etech on the label and have bright green gas caps. The small white rectangle sticker on top of the saw should tell you what you need to know and some of the parts for this saw will be interchangeable with both the 346xp (old and new) and the 350 (old and new). What parts are you looking for??

Partstree works well for looking up parts and part numbers on various husqvarna saws. I think all of the parts you need are interchangeable between the 350 and the 346. If the numbers match up, Fleabay usually has lots of 350 parts.

The serial number usually will tell when the saw was made, if you know how to read it.

Post it here (you can replace the last four digits with x if you want to).

SawTroll, the number on the crankcase nameplate was in my first post. There are a couple of 00 in that number so I assume that the saw was built in 2000, is that right?

Thanks for the help.
