372 low profile filter swap

I had a few high tops and I wanted to own a low top (just to see what the differences really were) So far, it seems like just aesthetics. I could see that if I was a logger, the high top would be the one I think. Judging by the ex-logger saws I've gotten my hands on, they don't like to clean much!!

Here's a vid of the low top 372 I just finished. It got the ground up treatment, including seals, bearings, and a mild port job. I fired it up even before I got the brake on. Needs some tweaking, but runs like a beast.

Nothing wrong with that either.

Must be nice to cut in "clean" conditions that allow you to run a 44 micron filter. If I used one, it would kill my engine in a hour or two! I have to use a felt filter and change them out once or twice during a session. And all I do is cut firewood. With all the rain that we have had over the last three weeks, maybe the dirty tree that I cut have been "washed" clean! LOL :monkey:
