Oil seeps out of the top of housing cover near just above and behind the bolts at the seal near the chain brake. Have to constantly wipe it so it doesn’t get into motor. New saw only run a month or so but 2017 model.
Chain oilLoose muffler?
Chain oil? Combustion oil? Pic?
Chain oil
If oil is sitting on top of clutch cover and case, pretty common event on my 372's I have owned. Is your oil turned up to max? What length of bar are you using? Bar clean, bar tight and flush? Oiling chain well? When cover is on this is where oil seeps out when running saw
Yes sitting on top of cover. Pooling dripping down sideIf oil is sitting on top of clutch cover and case, pretty common event on my 372's I have owned. Is your oil turned up to max? What length of bar are you using? Bar clean, bar tight and flush? Oiling chain well?
Everything is is decent shape bar /chain I have played with the oiler in all positions to to see if I can get it to stop. Nothing has worked. Oil that is coming out is dark but not burnt.Yes sitting on top of cover. Pooling dripping down side
Yes when cutting wood no excessive garage revvingDoes it do it while cutting wood? They all do it if you're just revving them up in the garage
Tried up downCould try turning the oiler down a little
Is chain wet with oil? Oil tank running empty before fuel? Using large mount bar? Purchased a bar with poor oil hole location and need to be opened. Not trying to insult, just trying to help.thinknill just keep cutting.
Thinking of getting tsumara 20” bar 3/8 .050 to replace. Do I need an conversion kit to make that bar work
