394 2101 sprokets

hay guys i want to put a bigger bar on my 2101xp and it is 3/8 im running .404 on it now i want to change the spur sproket over to rim can i use one of a 394 ???

Yes. One from a 288 will work also.

I'm curious about the seal as well, I've never worked on a 394 or 2101, I should look at my 2095. Maybe it's just on there to make sure it doesn't get misplaced ?

it seals the oilier up i think but if i use the 394 sproket i don't want it to move into the oilier and destroy it
