I just replaced the impulse tube, injection hose, and carb manifold on my brother in-law's 55 Rancher. I can't get the carb set right on it. I initially set the low and high open each 1 turn. Then I started making fine adjustments. Now, I am going to start from square one again. Any secrets to these saws? It is the EPA model, and I did cut the tabs off the H and L. The card is a ZAMA C1Q-EL7. Thanks and have a blessed day.

fuel mix??

I just remembered I used 40:1 in this saw. It calls for 50:1. I had to clean the tank vent tube when he gave it to me to fix. Would that heavier mix keep from acting right; venting and carb jets? Thanks and have a blessed day.
