I've got a 55 rancher that when I started it today it runs good for a while than stall's out. I noticed that if i take the gas cap off and put it back on it'll run good for a few minutes then stall again. Does thus saw have a vented gas cap or is there a vent line I'm not seeing that could be plugged up? Any other ideas? I've never had any problems with it till now.

I think you are on the right track. There is a tank vent inside the fuel tank. Sounds like its clogged up. There are different ways of getting it out. I take a long thin screwdriver and push it out from inside the tank. You should be able to see it by looking through the fuel fill hole. Its at the top. Its a 5 or 6 dollar part. Pics show where it comes out on the side. Push new one back into the hole it comes out of. GOOD LUCK!!!
