I modified a few of the old style top covers to a shape a little different than theirs.
I think my style will move even air for cooling.
I did this to 5 saws I got left to sell before I get saws with the new shape which I think i'll continue to do.

you can use the cast in partition as your guide,grind right up to it.
it's on the inside of cover. draw your shape on the out side when getting close to finish.
