Hello. I have been searching the last day or so to find a thread on adding a grapple saw but I haven’t found one. If there is a thread could someone post the link?
I am looking at buying a Fassi knuckle book with jib. So far I have been told the valve body is expandable so I should be able to send another set of hydraulics to the tip, but how do I get the lines to the tip of the jib? I see some knuckles with spools. The Fassi has a track on the side that carries the line. I should be able to use that track to run the lines correct? I would just need to have a connection point between the main boom and the jib and then finish running the lines to the tip of the jib?
A company that sells a lot of grapple saw trucks was suggesting it was like 30k to add another hydraulic function to the tip. I thought that seems high???
