Hope this is not a repeat.

3d parts scanner. Also other machine makes plastic replicates to exact size.
I suppose it could be used for making old chainsaw obsolete parts.
Have to watch commercial first.

yup.actually thats the exact sanners my professor has me looking into for our college to buy. we already have the plastic modeling, but no scanners.

llittle story: professor saw me trying to model the cylinder for my 372 useing my calipers , and i was doing a dang good job if i say so myself. came over to sake me what i was doing, said i wanted to created a full working 3dimensional chainsaw engine so i could analyze the fluid flow in it before and after different modifcatoins(fluid being air/fuel mixture). then asked me to do some research on scaneers, and when one comes in, my engine will be the first part to get scanned in. really kool stuff we have over here. now if i could just buy a lathe...hahaha.

p.s. if anyone on here nows of a good scanner compnay let me know PLEASE. i may be able to 'repay' with some modeling work.....
