Another bar length question....

I cut all hardwood for fire wood. I have a 16" on the 028 and an 18" on the 029 Super.

What bar length will an 038 Super pull with a Stihl RSC chain on it in green hardwood? Is 24" too much? Thanks.

It would do it if you wanted it to, my primary bar on a saw like that in that application would be 20", thank you.

With a 7 pin rim sprocket & skip chain you should be OK to go with the 25"
