This may be the wierdest post ever on the Large Equipmet forum...but here goes anyhow..
What the heck can I do to prevent getting ant bites while stumpgrinding....These teeny tiny devils crawl up my boots and pantlegs ,get trapped and bite the heck outta me....usually don't feel it right away but after a few minutes its like getting stung by a yellowjacket..then they swell and itch.....I came home today with bites to both legs, my shoulder and my neck & stomach..any kind of spray , or such that may help... These are not fireants , but little tiny brown ants...

I would know what to tell you if they were fire ants. Are they in the stump or a visible mound next to the stump? I hope they are not the crazy ants... We have them here now. Have not seen them on a job yet.
