Hip shot, maybe a Wards WD-90 or thereabouts. http://www.acresinternet.com/cscc.n...5ca13197078c3d2d88256ced001ef593?OpenDocument

The overstrike '9' over a 'D' (?) is throwing me off.

Our man Cliff will know.

I just got it yesterday. Going to make her run today. Do you an estimated value by chance. Or. What would you have paid for it

Inoperable hulk, maybe twenty bux. Good runner with no mechanical issues, maybe hunnert bux. Good for man cave decore.

I see old devils on C'list for 200-250 but they don't sell....................................

Be carefull with the recoil starter as the spring in them, if rusty, can suddenly break in many pieces. The rewind spring is high carbon steel and notch sensitive. It's a good idea to just take it apart clean and lube it before reefing on it.

Planning on lubing it up. And thanks. I couldn't find it anywhere online. And how hard would it be to find replacement parts.

The Power Products engines were made for many years. Best bet is to watch evilbay 'outdoor powere equipment' parts listing. Just a smalll mower engine truned on its side.

Check this out, its a good read. http://www.arboristsite.com/chainsaw/147859.htm

It is a Wards WD-90. The AH58 engine info at mikes site is wrong, This saw has a AH81 engine 7.98 cu. in. (131cc)
