Any opinions on HF flexshaft grinder for porting?

Foredom appear to run in the neighborhood of 18k rpm.

CC Specialty has some nice tools, especially the handpieces, but they are expensive.

Not much beats the pure, liquid power of an ARO pencil grinder running at 60k rpm though. So smooth it will ruin you forever on Dremel type tools.

The nearest HF store to me is not really that close but I happend to be in that area yesterday and I went ahead and picked one of these up for myself.

I really don't have that much use for a Dremal to begin with and always pretty much thought of them as toys anyway since I have regular air and electric die grinders here.


I decided along time ago that cheap tools useally are not in my best interest in the long term and I don't have many cheap tools, but for this price and my occasional use of something like this, I'm sure this will do me just fine for sometime.

I've been "occasional use"ing mine for well over 5 years now and it's still going as strong as ever.
