Arborist (Job Duties)
- Tree removal, tree and hedge pruning.
- Slashing, felling, brushing.
- Bucking and splitting logs for firewood.
- Operation and maintenance of chain saws, brush cutters and other gas powered tools.
- Operation of wood chipper and aerial lift.
- Driving diesel and gas driven trucks; automatic and standard transmissions.
Climbing using ropes and harness.
Clean-up/disposal of debris at sites, safe operation of truck and trailer – residential/commercial/industrial sites.
Full-time, permanent.
$23 p/h.

Skills Requirements: Work Experience/Education
ISA/UTT/UTW Certified Arborist or Minimum Relevant Work Experience of one year or more within an equivalent work environment. Valid Class 5 Drivers License - Own Vehicle. Emergency First Aid CPR/AED Level C. Climbing using ropes, harness and spurs. Chainsaw experience. Hand tools, hand/eye coordination, balance, heavy lifting, at heights, in all weather, working long hours/weeks. Duties include but not limited to: removing/pruning/trimming trees/shrubs. Working safely and efficiently. Good public communication skills.
