I just got an 066 Mag with a busted handle, and it has the clear tank. It also has the rounded plastic on top, like the MS660. I can get a non-see-through 064 tank for not a whole lot of $$, and am wondering if it will bolt up? And if it's not a direct bolt-up, are there a couple of simple things that can be changed to make it work?
I thought I read on here somewhere that there are certain tanks that don't interchange between certain saws in the 064/066/MS660 line, but after searching for half an hour I can't find any specifics. I know that some of the old 064 / 066 tanks are the non-see-through design, but are there other differences?
