i've read forums and such on this subject but just in case things have changed or new products have come out....
I have a osburn 2200 with vermiculate baffle board, which I replaced with oem parts last year via a chimney sweep. I was prepping the stove for its first fire of the year and the stuff broke. The material is always hard to handle but come on! Does anyone here have the same baffle material and does anyone have options for a different, more sturdy insualative material that can be used? its not the whole baffle, but sits on top of fire bricks with secondary tubes beneath the bricks.
I'm off to bed. thanks for any advice
