Belt size on Vermeer 630b stump grinder?

Anybody happen to know if an aftermarket belt is available for a 630b or what size it may be? Mine blew out last night and the nearest vermeer dealer is 70 miles away, and I'm sure they want a fortune for it. It's that big 4 rib belt, I'm just hoping to find a replacement that wont break the bank and i can grab locally. Thanks for any advice.

Seems like I remember a 4B68 - no guarantees - I could look through some old bills I kept for taxes if you need me to.

I think I ran the BX - the X stands for a notched type belt - I seemed to get more life out of them. Dayco seemed to be the best for me.

Let me know what you find.

Thanks, i ended up getting one ups' ed to me from vermeer. $80 shipped, lot better than i expected.

$80 doesn't sound bad at all. I think I was paying $60 15 years ago!!!
