buying second hand Dolmar ps3410th: advice / tips

Hi guys,

Friday I will visit a guy who is selling a Dolmar PS3410 TH chainsaw. It's a little saw, about 4 years old.

Can you guys give me some advice buying this? Which are important things to take an extra look at?

Bring a scrench so you can open the clutch cover, see how well the owner cleans up after use. IMHO, if he takes the time to clean it more than likely there is a better chance that he has maintained it as well. Though of course, thats not always the case. Don;t know if you can do a compression test, also something I like to do looking at a used saw.

Hopefully moparman Mike will come along as he has one of these and is very knowledgeable about them.
