The local independent saw repair shop uses one to sharpen chains.
I use and Oregon grinder and when in the shop asked if I could try it out one day and the Carlton did just fine. He did comment that he ordered a better set of wheels for it as the ones that came on it didn't last long, but other than that he liked it and commented it had paid for itself many times over which I can understand at 8.00 a chain.
