I own a small ranch in Chatham County, NC and joined here to search for info on chainsaws. I am mostly retired (Army, then Defense Contractor)
I have owned a few saws, and rebuilt one (Husqvarna 455). I'm shopping for a couple of top handle saws to keep handy at two of my properties for light work. My last top handle was an Echo, which performed well for me. Now, I am comparing either a pair of Stihls, or possibly the asian models, which are a far lower buy-in. So, I'll read about what the tradeoffs are in the forums.
