20171227_095424.jpg Well I got the hard part done. I put in a new clutch pack on our morbark 2400. I at first had a hard time getting old clutch pack off. I couldn't find a puller big and heavy enough to get old one off. Called all over town. I finely made one from stuff we had laying around. Yes those old chipper blades were put to use. The holes all lined up perfect. It broke it loose un no time.
I did this by my self and let me say that unit is heavy. It all has to line up perfect, the bearing and clutches when you slide it together. It was like wrestling an Alligator entell i hooked the hoist up off the shut. Then it was piece of cake.
I still have to hook up pulleys and adjust the clutch tomorrow, then test it out. Vermer wanted 5000.00 plus to do it. I hope i get a little bonus from the boss for this.
