Been burning cottonwood standing dead wood. Been seeing more than a few times ash turns to solid chunk of crystallized crappy concrete...only reason burning junk cottonwood it was by garden and I culled it years ago to keep from suckering. It blew over in big storm between shed and house

Have had it few years ago with standing dead I cut n split as I needed wood....not sure what kind of wood.

There maybe a couple Busch lattes thrown in fire also....

This has weight to it. It has been a mild year so have started a lot more fires than normal.

Has to be with cottonwood as ash and maple don't do this
