Couple of good weeks for Shindaiwa CAD

Got a nice running 345 saw a couple of weeks ago. This morning I got a shot at a B45 brushcutter and T-25 trimmer off craigslist. Still waiting on the $35 Shindaiwa 416 to arrive on the doorstep. Anybody else doing this well managing their CAD?

Good score there. I picked up shindaiwa 345 a year ago. I have a 14" bar on mine. Ive used it a few times. Its a nice little saw.

Seems to run really good, still need to put it into some wood though.

That's no way to be...;) Mine was an eBay saw, they said it had no spark. The kill switch was in upside down!:dizzy: Few other little things and a good cleaning is all I did. Good to see you on here Grant.

Shinny 488P

My dad's 488 Pro broke down a few weeks ago, instead of throwing it out he gave it to me to try and fix. He decided to get a new Stihl MS 390 and figured i couldn't get the shindawia back together. After some new crank bearings it runs like a dream. Thanks for the saw dad!

I got a T-2O trimmer that looks like that one. Does the 25 have the same primer lever on the bottom of the carb. Mine needs a carb rebuild, and it looks like a pretty funky set-up.

I didn't get any Shinny's this weekend, but I did get a nice Remington SL-4, and a Mighty Mite Weekender.

Put a new air filter in the B45 and fired it up to do a little cutting. This thing runs good and has more power than the 35's. Good for brushcutting and clearing.

Another thing I'm happy about is I had some dull brush blades that I hand sharpened last year. First time I've tried that and the dogone thing cut good.

Waiting on some air filter parts for the 25 but did crank it over and it sprung to life. These make good light duty trimmers. I don't really need two of them but couldn't pass it up for $75.

The seller was nice enough to hold these for a week and meet me halfway between his place and mine. The deal couldn't have gone better unless he just gave them to me.
