Thought that would get your attention!

A friend of mine who used to work here came back for a holiday, he's a Kiwi arborist, when he left he took up commercial diving in the UK and now works on the North Sea oil rigs.
We were trading tree stories but his topped the bunch:
He told me he was working in Poole Harbour, they had to take out some old pilings with an hydraulic chainsaw. As he was the only chainsaw qualified guy on the team he got the job. He had to suit up in chainsaw pants and gloves on top of his diving kit, use the hydraulic chainsaw underwater and have a crane pick the sections off as he cut them!

How cool is that:biggrinbounce2:

off the charts

That is off the cool charts!!!! The only thing that would make it better is if he were in Bermuda or some other warm climate doing it.

Was called in to help out on a demolition of an old pier a few years back.
Nice scenery doing a couple of days work on the beach;)
Not out in the deep sea though! He can have that job.
