The most notable part of this gear drive model is the fact you can mount the bar and clutch in two positions.....inboard, on the left side of the gearbox for general use with better balance (LOL) and outboard on the right side of the gearbox for close in work like stumping. As said sold by Sears & Roebuck.

I have a direct drive model, with the big engine, AH81 Tecumseh, 130cc.
Needed a piston , rings + cylinder for it. Found that, vintage go cart racers use these engines and sourced parts from them. Had a mix of new and good used parts. Picture on another device.
Also have a gear drive with the smaller engine, AH47 Tecumseh, 77cc.
Found this at a yard sale $20!
Both saws run and they are LOUD!!
