Yep... the MAROON pad works great. A wire bursh (work slowly ) is o.k.. NO sandpaper!

I have Permatex Aviation Form-a-gasket (brush on type can) on my 044 in lieu of a cylinder gasket. Many hours later, still no problems.

19.97+6.75% tax... Thanks for the info. Now to find the 3M maroon pads. HD and Lowe's no go. Will try a paint store and a couple of hardware stores tomorrow.

if you can't find then locally, Enco and MSC have them....


Stop at any body shop and ask where they buy theirs...
